These wrought iron gates come in a variety of sizes (height and width) and it has a level top (no arch) with a ring feature, underneath the mid rail, this style of wrought iron gates is especially suited to pet owners, as the lower part of the gate has twice as many vertical bars as the top half, but even for non-petowners it is a striking design and will add a touch of class to any property
The wrought iron gates themselves are made from 40mm x 10 mm solid flat frame. with a 16mm solid round bar infill
the latch can be fitted to the left or right hand side of the gate (see options) to suit your needs
As standard all our wrought iron gates (or metal gates) come finished in primer although we can supply painted, galvanised, powder coated or both galvanised and powdercoated for prices on these finishes (except painting as this is done by ourselves) please contact us
The sizes quoted are the GAP sizes not the gate sizes we have allowed for fittings (posts or wall plates)
when measuring your gap measure at at least 3 places (bottom, middle, and top) and use the narrowest measurement (our hinges allow for some adjustment).

Traditionally wrought iron gates were made from, wrought iron, which is an iron alloy with a very low carbon content, compared to steel. Nowadays though wrought iron is no longer made on a commercial scale, the small amounts that are produced is made for heritage restoration purposes.
These days wrought iron gates are made from mild steel, so a title of metal gates or steel gates, could be classed as a better title, but we can techically retain the title of wrought iron gates due to the steel being worked by hand.
