As with all our wrought iron gates we offer a number of different options including size and the style of railhead (see options)
These wrought iron gates are level (no arch) with a ring feature, underneath the mid rail, this style of gate is especially suited to pet owners, as the lower part of the gate has twice as many vertical bars as the top half, but even for non-petowners it is a striking design and will add a touch of class to any driveway.
The metal gates themselves are made from 40mm x 10 mm solid flat frame,with 40mm box section sides and a 16mm solid round bar infill
the latch can be fitted to the left or right hand side of the gate (see options) to suit your needs, this comes complete with a plate for locking your wrought iron gates shut
To stop the wrought iron gates from swinging open the slam leaf comes complete with a dropbolt to hold the gate in a closed position
we now offer these metal gates in two finishes Plain (unfinished) and powdercoated (see options)
The sizes quoted are the GAP sizes not the size of the actual metal gates. we have allowed for fittings (posts or wall plates)
when measuring your gap measure at at least 3 places (bottom, middle, and top) and use the narrowest measurement (our hinges allow for some adjustment).
In certain areas we may be able to carry out installation work as well so if you would prefer to have your gates fitted by experienced fitters please dont hesitate to contact us for a competitive quote.
